Thursday the 17th of December. Every year, around a week before Christmas, my best friend and I go for afternoon tea at a really posh hotel. We meet at 2pm, eat tiny sandwiches and scones and fancy cakes, drink lots of coffee, have a couple of glasses of champagne, and generally have a good time. This year, we did all that and had a bottle of champagne to boot. We had such a great time - and didn’t leave until almost 7:30pm.
