You’re removing something hot from the oven. What do you use? A towel? Oven gloves? Something else? Tell me.

Not mittens but I have special pieces of thick cloth [don't know what they are called in English] to grab hot things in the kitchen. When I lived in dorm, I used to use my sleeves or pieces of multi-fold paper instead! I used to live like a caveman!

I use oven mitts and/or a towel. sometimes I have one in each hand cuz that's all I can find

Normally whatever thats cook leave for minutes before removing.Wet my hands with water then remove it

I use silicone oven mitts. I always dreamed of being a novelty oven mitts person. Ever since I was a kid I wanted novelty oven mitts, like the ones that are hand puppets, or the ones that are giant kitten paws. But I've never made the leap, I've never made that dream a reality. I guess I'm afraid of flying too high.

Oven mitts, sometimes fluffy ones, sometimes rubber ones. Or, sometimes just a flat rubber square.

I own oven mitts but I don't use them, maybe I have bad ones but if I hold something more than 3-4 seconds they will burn my fingers anyway... so I end up using a towel

I am the towel type. But often I am too stubborn to use it. I check with two fingers first. That is my way of fighting snakes in a burning train that is about to fall down a cliff where the bridge exploded. The cave woman in me sort of. Then the sapiens kicks in and I resort to the towel. In very rare cases like a hot cake fresh from the oven I use the single glove. I hide that soon and use the towel. sigh I hit my bosom with my fists and shout: I made fire! I am so cavewoman when it comes to ignore heat it is awkward.
