If any head of any European state would call scientists "idiots" in general and suppose to shit on their recommendations he would be politically dead. What do you think?

I think Americans did this to themselves by making zero demands of their leaders for decades, instead just voting for their party no matter what, the quality of candidates is also going to go down, no matter what
