I love both but cats are a lot easier to own and I'm just too busy to give a dog the attention it needs

If big cats were safe enough to have as a pet.. who knows.

I find dogs are more fun and affectionate, I like how excited they get. Cats are cool too

I've always been a dog person until I got my first cat. I still love dogs, but prefer the felines now.

I like both, but I prefer cats because they purr when you pet them and they're lower maintenance. I always feel bad for dogs because they're miserable being locked up in the yard.

Cats. They don't have boundless energy or are too needy. Dogs need a lot of care and attention that many busy people working today can't really provide on the whole.

Dogs are great too - but I prefer cats. Less risk of my kids being mauled, too.

I'm not a pet lover. I find dogs annoying though sometimes fun and the same applies for cats. I have an imaginary chicken and that does what it wants, so I feel no lack of pets.

They are both fine but a cat would be better for my lifestyle if I had to choose one - they are just kinda chill and lower maintenance, don't need to be walked and such
