What is your opinion about spoilers in movies etc. Don't you care or do you try to avoid them?

95% of the time I do not care and it's about the journey and not the destination BUT depending on how the story is constructed it is at least theoretically possible to ruin an experience knowing what happens at the end, this is why I tend to find prequels not terribly compelling - if a prequel character is not in the original work, then you know they are gonna die or something, that sort of thing, anyway even when I do care I'm still not one of those people who gets angry about it, that is just strange to me

The biggest spoiler for me comes in the casting and marketing anyway. With the exception of Sean Bean all hollywood stars are going to be in the majority of the film and have a lot of plot armour.

I've never/rarely had to actively avoid seeing a spoiler, but yes, I'd rather not know ahead of time what's going to happen if I'm actually going to see the movie. For the same reasons I don't like seeing the same movie twice.. Actually, come to think of it, there is one scenario where a number of times I've avoided reading spoilers: reading about movies on Wikipedia. A lot/most/all of them have full plot summaries on the Wikipedia page.

If I'm going to watch it, I do care. But I don't have the means to watch movies right now, so I literally don't care.
