I have the feeling that humans in general are getting dumber and dumber. Do you have that feeling too?

Yeah..honestly the newer generation seems extremely dumb to me..

I can't give a general opinion on people's intelligence but I feel some people are trying to appear dumber and dumber to gain more followers on social media.

Nah. I think it just looks that way because we have more of them. Its easier to learn now, but at the same time its easier to be distracted... but I think on whole we are getting gradually better... albeit struggling to retain our standards.

i actually read recently that the average IQ is dropping again after having gone up for a few decades

I wouldn't know. I've been too busy slowly realizing how dumb people are to track down their progress in any objective way.

Though it is true that dumb people tend to be poorer and poorer people tend to breed more. And also, I've noticed an increasing amount of degenerate grammar online, for example completely leaving out the "'s" in possessives which sounds retarded af. Also I've noticed an increasing preference for rap.

I don't know, who's keeping track? it probably just seems that way because social media gives everyone a platform to voice their thoughts regardless of how intelligent they are, and most people aren't geniuses (ya, including me)

No, people are not dumb at all, they play dumb to keep from thinking about their lack of sympathy or empathy for anyone else so they can continue being shitlords in comfort

Theyve always been dumb. People cant hold multiple angles or viewpoints of things in their heads at one time and are pretty unidimensional. They also have limited powers of empathy mostly.
