Your opinion about organ donation?

It should be an opt out system. That way, if you feel so strongly about your organs not being used after your death, everybody gets to know how determined to be a dickhead you were.

Great. Anyone who needs all my trans queer organs can literally have them rn, they don't even need to wait for me to die.

why not? I don't need my body when I'm dead, so I'd rather have the parts go to people who can get more mileage out of them. I think it'd be pretty amazing to have parts of me live on in other people, and for my family to meet those people and see what that contribution has done for them.

my family is heavily against organ donation for what they claim are cultural reasons. they can call it what they want but ultimately I think it's just selfish tbh. they can still have my body for the funeral, but yknow, the organs inside will just be elsewhere

Doubt my bits are any use to them with my dodgy mitochondria. But yay for recycling.

It's a wonderful thing to do, it really is the gift of life for someone else - I'd do it if I weren't presently ruining mine

I can't do it. But if you can and you want to, good on you. I understand why people might feel uncomfortable doing it though.

I think it's an amazing thing for someone to do, even if they won't be needing them any more. Giving someone else a chance at life would be the greatest gift in the world, while you might not feel that great of course being dead and all it would be a great feeling knowing that while you're alive that one day, someone will be able to live and make the most of life exactly like you did.
