I have seen a lot of chaotically impulsive and self-destructive people - it does seem to be a path that stops for a lot of them though... or maybe I lost contact with them and they are dead or in prison

I had a classmate with BPD but she behaved normally bc of meds. So no wild stories here.

I watch a lot of YouTube videos by someone who has or had BPD (pretty sure that's what she said she had/has?), a cult leader called Unicole Unicron. I also post comments a lot on her YouTube and twitter and she likes them. As for personally knowing anyone.. I wouldn't be surprised if I do or have and they just never told me about their diagnosis or, more likely, were never diagnosed.

I don't think so, but who knows, nobody growing up was going to a professional to get diagnosed with anything
