How do you know that you are not dreaming right now?

Thanks, now I don’t know anymore that I’m not dreaming. In a few minutes I will know it again.

My hypothesis is that when you're dreaming, certain brain functions just stop, like recognizing yourself in the mirror, or reading, or simple stuff as checking if the clock moves forward.

If that all ain't working, you're dreaming.
Also don't look at yourself in the mirror when dreaming, it's horrible.

Because you'd think out of all these years being assulted by the walls or stubbing my toe in ze dark, the pain of one of them mofos would've been strong enough to wake my fat ass up but well... Here we still are, I guess. Stuck in the simulation just like everyone else!!! 😭

I can move my body at will, which is never the case in dreams, I can switch context, which is impossible in dreams, and I cannot fly, which in my dreams is plain business as usual. ;-)

Dreaming is very different. Things are distorted and inconsistent, I don't know how I got there, I'm in a stupor, my perception feels subtly different.. whenever I'm dreaming even if I'm not lucid dreaming if I ask myself if I'm dreaming I'm not sure.. and that's how I know I'm dreaming. Because when I'm awake I'm always sure because there's this certain feeling to it. This stark, static reality and this hyper-consciousness.
