What did you learn today?

I gave the Sanders campaign money back when he had a chance and I think they sold my name, so now gun rights groups/organizations are sending me mail/surveys. wOW

I just found out that the movie Cabaret is based roughly on Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood.

That I’m more tired than I thought I’d be when I set that alarm for waking me up at 6:30 AM.

I just woke up a few minutes hours ago, it's too early for some introspection.

Well I learned that multi-bladed cartrige razors suck when you have a 3+ day beard, you have to mow down with a clipper or something beforehand. Every stroke hurts and clogs the razor.

I wish I packed my double-edge razor, sure you can hurt yourself if you don't know how to shave with one but it handles my style of not caring for a few days better.

I tried the 'FaceApp' gender-swap filter for the first time in a while and I've got to say it's improved a lot since I last used it, because not only do I look kinda cute now, but it actually looks realistic, like it could be another me from a parallel universe.

Mostly that I work with gossips who are not to be trusted, I confided my frustration about...things to someone I thought was chill and I swear not an hour later there's a calendar invitation to chat from a team lead

But this is all my fault for slipping up and trusting, so what I REALLY learned is that I am a dope

it was yesterday, but I learned that I really shouldn't incubate samples at 37°C for 22 min when the protocol says 15 min. I overcooked it 😔✊

Not today, but yesterday I finally got around to learn how to model things using OpenSCAD. It's much easier than I thought, and I got pretty far with it.

Trump made a false statement on Twitter, Twitter flagged it as unsubstantiated, now Trump literally wants to shut Twitter down and anybody else who does anything similar.

The difference between Latin Spanish and some other Calicactus or sth Spanish. Just bc I don't remember the name doesn't mean I didn't try, aight? 😅😅
