What was the largest animal that you have killed?
Elk
A big bug. It was by accident.
I've never intentionally killed anything bigger than a very large cockroach. I've probably been indirectly responsible for the deaths of larger animals, though. I lost a stray cat my dad was planning on keeping when I was trying to take her to be spayed. It was entirely my fault because I tried to hold her in my arms as I carried her to the vet, forgetting that she didn't trust me as much as my own cat. She panicked as I approached the door and got out of my arms. She ran into a small but thickly wooded area, and she was a brown tabby that would have blended if she was hiding. The vet's office said they would keep an eye out for her, but I guess she never came back that way. I couldn't find her after three hours of looking and an additional hour of waiting for her to just wander back. The other side of those woods was a residential area, so it's possible she found people again. But I've always felt like I basically killed her.
I killed two birds that were in my house.
