I’ll be honest with you, ever since I was a child, the name never sat well with me. Yes— please change it. Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben rice and a restaurant that we used to frequent w my family called Sambo’s also gave me the same feeling.

Their logo was designed by the president of the National Congress of American Indians. https://youtu.be/40SFqadRTQ0 I don't see it as a problem, but it's up to the owners. From the native perspective, it's by no means clearly one way or the other.

Its up to the business I guess. I'm unaware of any history involving the name but its traditional brand heritage vs modern day sensitivities. Being a sport-team I can't see the brand being too heavily effected by a name change.
