Is a person with a high social status more attractive to you?

No - if anything, they're less attractive. There is often a certain level of ''behaviour'' required to fit in with them that I can't do because I would need to repress a lot of who I am.

Plus, they're usually people who think they can control you with their money.

maybe to some degree? I like people who know how to talk to people, those who have their own friends, those who have things going for them. but I'm not particularly interested in public figures, people with a tremendous amount of power or money

Considering how many celebrity crushes I have/have had, they must be. Unless it's just that celebrities are so pretty and portray larger-than-life personalities.. I think it's something about the fame too, though. But I'm not like a girl.. a person having a very low social status isn't conversely a deal-breaker or even a turn-off for me.

Yes, I won't speak to anyone less than a duchess 🧐 also I need a 'nose turned up' emoji, one of you commoners make that happen pls

No. One reason, people with "high social status" typically have less in common with me.

It doesn't make them any more/less physically alluring, but it doesn't hurt either.

Let's see who might be supposed to have a high social status, who are these persons? Powerful politicians, adored artists, wealthy entrepreneurs?

Yup... to elaborate, high social status is a reflection of their values, wealth, appearance and success... the money thing is a little nice (access to more fun dates I guess, not my money though so its not for me to spend) but the rest are great things :)
