In what ways are you a winner?

I'm married with a fantastic support system. I live in a first world country with universal healthcare and employee protections. I have access to clean, running water and food when I need them.

I don’t feel like I fit into either of those categories and I don’t think I’ve ever defined myself as either of those. Everyone is on their own journey. I don’t feel like it’s a race.

In every single way I can think of. Good job, House paid for. Happily married. Beautiful children. I have it made

Well... I have a great career, earn a great salary for someone my age, I'm a homeowner, with plenty of money either well invested or there for another day. I've got a lot of interests and hobbies. Plus I'm pretty self-assured in my abilities, well trained (40+ qualifications up to a masters) and really keen to learn more. My health is pretty good and I'm not offensive to look at. I also don't have any of the issues that make most men insecure which is lovely.

I won once a pink plastic salad spoon and fork. I was 5 years old. Since then I didn't win anything ever again.
