A pair of knit cat slipper knee-high socks that my colleague/friend gave me for Christmas the year before. They have that faux shearling material on the inside and keep my feet toasty when it’s cold. Practical and cute.

I mean I don't know exactly what this costs but I didn't pay for it so I guess this counts...A lady I was kinda seeing works at a research lab - she took a DNA sample from me as a control for an experiment, then sequenced me, took the mapping and blew it up to a landscape size, and framed it and gave it to me...normally it's not a great thing to have your DNA up on the wall but it's pretty cool in this case (OK it's in storage right now but still)
