I saw that wild pig in Missouri last year, it was hour 2 of a nearly 4 hour hike. I felt reborn, or maybe... born, for the first time. I said, "is that a fucking pig??" and that's what I want written on my tombstone.

There was a fence between me and those. So the term "wild" in the meaning of freely roaming the woods would not be correct. Last time I saw them in true freedom was a couple of years ago when I saw them looting a potato field while I drove by early in the morning.

I think it was in Mississippi, definitely down south somewhere...didn't feel much of anything

Umm about 8 years ago, they were common place in Swiss forests. Always nice to see significant wild life.
