Why should we read stuff by the ancient greeks if almost everything they said is wrong?
Does everything you read have to be right? Just because we know more now (allegedly), does that make their ideas and writings any less relevant, or even less enjoyable to read? Maybe (definitely) in a couple of thousand years people will look back at our writings and ideas and think “what a load of bollocks!” I mean, look at Twitter, Facebook, Instagram et al.
You don't mean Greek Mythology? And for the more realistic stuff, I like their idea of democracy more.
At least we can learn that humans keep to do the wrong things all the time and hardly ever learn from the past. And that during the centuries we always struggle to find answers for the ever repeating questions. Also some of their answers were closer to the better than ours today.
