More than 10% of people who have Covid get Long Covid. Apparently the vaccine only halves the risk of getting Long Covid. I assume we will get infected several times during our lifetime. Does it mean we will all have Long Covid one day?

All I know is that I’m sick of this shit. And now I have to go back to work in person in the middle of one of the worst peaks? Stupid.

How’s the risk of long covid for second infection? If that’s low, the answer is a resounding no. Also, is the general risk of getting long covid only associated with covid or are there rather 10% of people that are disposed to get long covid and 90% that are not so disposed? Those complications are very important in evaluating the situation

Our government is sure as hell operating under that assumption, trying to do something about it is so 2020

Not necessarily, it's possible that those who don't get long covid once will never get it. And not to mention the possibility that the virus goes away before we all get it 10 times or more.

Unlikely but the population might decide otherwise and make this a very long term fun by ignoring everything and blaming the sad results on governments rather than on their own sillyness as always .I think here Netherlands for instance. Like children who jump in front of the bus just to give their teachers shivers and yell: See? We do as we wish and it is our freedom to do so. Only that they fuck everybody else too, not only the driver and themselves.
