How would you react if someone wants you to use pronouns such as ze/hir, they/them or xe/xem for them? Would you think that person is insane or would you happily use their pronouns?

I would think they are confused snowflakes and address them as they wish to be addressed because I am not a retarded douchebag.
By the way, that question is quite important when you are a teacher.

What a difference a pronoun makes. A psychopath referring to a victim as 'it' to objectify them. And yet a person choosing a new pronoun to validate their identity. On a personal level I'd probably be irritated and feel id entered another dimension with new beings and a badly written script.

I would avoid the issue as best I can. I get stressed out enough dealing with standard social interaction.

I'm generally a chill and compliant person. So if they are nice about it I've got no issues, but if they are a preachy entitled dick about it I'm likely not going to use it because I'm not going to want to talk to them anyway.

I'm happy to use they/them which I have/do. But I've never had somebody request ze/hir or xe/xem which I find silly and I'm honestly not sure how i'd react if someone actually asked to be addressed on that way

Maybe I would use them if that person would be super nice and kind hearted. Otherwise I am out of there!

I'd think it's utterly ridiculous, I'd want to roll my eyes. I wouldn't think the person is insane necessarily, but that they're inclined to be swept away by the latest social craze. If it were in person, I might use the pronouns just because of the social pressure (I really don't like making enemies), but i wouldn't be happy about it.

I can't imagine I'd care, if that's what they wanna go with, whatever - frankly I'm just salty that my request to go by Sean the Destroyer is routinely ignored
