Do you have a high demanding job?

“Yes”, she says recovering from her second three hour Christmas lunch of the week.

Kinda. Nearly everyday I learn a new thing at work to implement the idea that I have in my mind. Furthermore because Blockchain is kind of a new technology, I need to keep up with the latest news, innovations, and ideas and if possible use them to improve my work.

Last week I've been offered a research based part time job and I accepted it. This might be a bit more challenging than my main job.

Nah, I barely have any responsibility anymore since I'm on my way out.
Peers tough have it real rough having to manage education duties while also publishing on time.

It's demanding for me because I'm pretty new and there's still a lot of stuff I have to learn. After that though it's easy...or so I'm told

It is demanding in the sense that there are often demands that cannot be covered by the resources.

No, everyone around me there just puts on a bunch of bad high school theater like it is, inventing crisis after crisis that ends up meaningless in the end

It can be. Research is difficult and it takes a lot of time, and it can be pretty dangerous given the stuff I'm currently working with (radioactivity). But it's also a little more flexible than other lines of work. I'm not really bound to a schedule. I can show up at noon and work late if I want to (I don't want to tho because my building is creepy at night)
