What's your opinion about Elon Musk calling his child X Æ A-12?
the "X Æ" part came from Grimes and the "A-12" was contributed by Musk, so it wasn't him on his own or so. In general they are free to do whatever they want, they should just remember that a name is something that stays with a person forever, and can very well be a attack surface that can do massive damage to a persons self-conciousness etc.
He actually explained it and you could just call them Ash.
He must be a joker. I mean come on!
Das ist so wie Xenia Daphne Moriandra Schibulski. man sollte kürzere Variablennamen verwenden, das stärkt die Lesbarkeit des Programms. LOL.
It's silly af, and it's just yet another celebrity naming their child something extravagant.. It's a phenomenon, and I'm not sure what's behind it.. I suspect that it has something to do with celebrities being deathly afraid of being everyday losers, and on some level they know their children are unlikely to be celebrities when they grow up, so they give them an exotic name to make them stand out because it's the best they can do.
I saw the explanation on twitter but I can only remember that the 'A-12' bit is named after their (Elon and Shelon's) favourite aircraft. It's a really cool plane, but it's not cool to name your child like they're a machine.
But maybe Elon wants the child to be bullied, so they will grow up to be a super villain. A villain that will one day rule Mars and launch an attack on their birth planet that they came to despise. Earth will then be forced to unite against a common enemy. Genius. Not quite teleporting a giant squid monster into New York, but I think that's beyond even Mr. Musk's capabilities.
The name would have been X Æ A-12xbt if they opted for the Bluetooth option
