What was the reason behind your last apology? And who did you apologize to?
I was on a call to a client in Hawaii last night and it started storming and the power/internet was in and out and they were breaking up, and it was a bunch of 'can you repeat that' so I said I was sorry about the connection a lot. But dammit, they get to live in Hawaii so they can freakin deal
I was having a chat with someone about the shared need to unwind at the moment (life stresses and all that jazz) and the person mentioned they are about to have a bath. I asked if they bring anything in there with them to help them relax (candles, music etc.) and long story short it eventually got taken as me also asking if they use a dildo in the bath (or something like that I guess) and I got told off for asking a very personal question (even though I didn't ask or really enquire about those sort of items). I said I'm sorry for any misunderstanding, I'm British after all but really I have no idea why it took that turn. Perhaps my inquisitiveness made it seem like I was into the conversation in a sexual way?
That would be a bit complicated here to explain since the characterlimit makes it useless to start this. But, second last apology was that I drank the Gin & Tonic away that was for a friend assuming it was mine. How embarrassing. Even more so when I realised that I dryed my own glass already and put it away. He laughed it away and I had to prepare another round, but he teased me with it the entire evening, but since we are good friends since ages he's allowed to tease me and to poke fun on me. :)
