I was in a shop today buying a vase. There were two young people serving me at the counter. As I walked away I heard one say, “she’s really nice”, and the other agreeing. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I now must go and fire someone to counteract these strange feelings...

When a little guy of girl that I’ve had in my class comes back to visit to tell me about how it’s going as a young adult or when I get random hugs from my former kids in public and I don’t know who they are because they’re all grown up... that makes me terribly happy.
