What's a quick and easy meal you make yourself at least once a week?
Do microwaveable meals count? Whenever I go to the grocery store I get 4 microwaveable entrees by Amy's. They're expensive, but they taste great for microwaveable food. When I have them I usually have at least 1 a week, but they run out before I get back to the grocery store. Sometimes I also buy a large box of pepperoni pizza hot pockets, the kind with the special garlic crust, and have those whenever I'm hungry and there's nothing else to eat. I also get chef boyardee lasagna sometimes and/or beefaroni and/or overstuffed ravioli and/or campbell's condensed chicken noodle soup. If I have none of the above and there's milk I eat some raisin bran, I always have some handy. (There are other cereals I like more, like fruity pepples and cinnamon taost crunch, but raisin bran is OK and it's more healthy.)
So.. i guess there isn't anything i make every week, it just depends on what I have available.
Cereal
Porridge. I use bigger sized oats plus milk plus some fruit or chocolate chips sometimes, but mostly just oats, milk and a pinch of sugar. I am very picky with milk because I want to have a tasty sort, which processed milk lacks a lot. I buy my milk from a local farmer which makes porridge a true delight compared to cheaper supermarket milk. You cannot expect tasty milk for cheap as dirt prices.
What I do a lot is pan-sear/saute whatever protein I'm having (adding wine to the pan after to make a sauce)... while oven-roasting potatoes or whatever other vegetables I have lying around, only takes about half an hour...anything less than that and I'm just going to make grilled cheese
Ramen... that's why i need a sweet asian wife to take care of me...interested? ^_^
