When was the last time you experienced a power outage? How often do you experience it? [I'm experiencing it right now. ]

It was a while ago. I checked into a hotel, went to my room, switched on a light and plunged the whole wing into darkness. They were extremely apologetic, moved me to another (not so nice) room, and gave me my dinner for free.

Only 1 time, and it wasn't even for 15mins.

I do however have enough parts that I could just rig together something that lasts an entire day.

If I had a real power outage for a week or longer, I guess I could get by using a gas cooker and begging my neighbours to charge a bigass battery with their car I have laying around.

Things we take for granted right?

About a year ago, it happens occasionally but it's usually only for like an hour unless something major happened and it takes them a while to fix it

Not since January. It's almost always the result of severe weather but sometimes because a transformer blew and it knocked out power to the whole neighborhood.

Last summer. I was off, it was during the day, and there was no plague or vultures. I went out into the streets like a slut, and everyone who talked to me was NICE.

When they rebuilt the street with water pipes and sewage water drainage and such the caterpillar cut the main supply cable to our house. That was about 6 years ago.

A storm knocked it out for an hour or two last year, it's not terribly common, couple times a year tops

it's been a few years. I remember those used to be kinda fun when I was younger. more recently we had a water outage at my apartment complex for about a day. like, wow guys, the one day I actually want to drink water I can't? jfc !
