Tiny rosemary and garlic meat balls cooked in tomato sauce with parsley and chillies.
Stuffed grape leaves
- ground beef
- onions (grated)
- jalapeños (grated)
-fresh cilantro, parsley, dill (finely chopped)
-spices : salt/black pepper/red pepper/paprika
Mix everything above really well, then wrap them up in grape leaves like cigars (about a tablespoon of meat mixture per leaf).
Pack the cigars tightly in a pot, fill by about 4 inches of boiling water (not all cigars will be submerged ). Put a heavy plate on top to keep them from floating, cover, and boil gently for about 20 minutes. Enjoy with greek yogurt as a dipping sauce.
Very time consuming, but worth it if someone else is making it :)
