Do/would you have a first-name-basis or last-name-basis relationship with your coworkers?

everyone uses first names, except the military officers - I generally address them by rank when I must speak with them

Coworkers have always called me by my first name. I think I've only ever had a last-name-basis relationship with teachers, doctors, priests, and a couple elderly neighbors. Of course, I haven't talked to a priest since I was a kid, but I don't think I even knew what their first names were. Probably mostly Johns and Stephens? Wonder if there's ever been a Father Cody Colton Zackery Holliston.

Yes. Except those who were my professors at some point, in which case they’ll always be “DR ________”

Most of my local friends are coworkers and excoworkers tbh. They joys of moving too much I guess :/ but honestly some of them are pretty great - just wish they didn't talk about work on days where I don't want to think about work.
