I use a VPN piece of software. But in general, I just avoid people I don't trust and I reveal info about me at a minimum

Different personas.

I don't post any personal information like phone number, address, real name. I also have different accounts on certain social media: one for my irl contacts and other one for online people. I don't want to mix both worlds bc there are too many assholes out there that have nothing better to do than harassing others with no limits. And I don't care if they want to do that to me.. Bc well, I'm here and I know what I'm doing. But my family and friends are different thing.
