Is it ever OK to make Nazi jokes?

Yes. The only Nazi joke I know of though is the "I did Nazi that coming" one.

It’s okay to make jokes about nazis, but not about what they did, how they did it, or the people they did it to.

'Ever'? Yeah.

'Always?' Of course not.

When it's said "Jokes should never be made about [X]" there immediately comes a 'dangerous'* tension around the subject which can make a situation of 'taboo' funny for the mere fact it's not supposed to be said. Nazis(?)—kinda the fascist genocidal terror of the 20th century, maybe don't make jokes about them to everyone's family and coworkers, immediately as they're thought of.

I'ma say generally no, but it's hard to tell without hearing a joke. If it's at the Nazi's expense those are usually welcomed by me obvi. I'd say the litmus test is: if you're the type of person who makes Nazi jokes because you have a "dark sense of humor" and you spend too much time around your Republican buddies, you probably shouldn't be making Nazi jokes

Not sure, I'd have to hear one before I know if it's okay or not. I have a feeling there are some Nazi jokes that I would be okay with, but everyone has their level of sensitivity (and some people even have had relatives that were killed in the holocaust), and I can't say that someone who thinks none of them are okay is wrong..

Making light of ethnic cleansing isn't cool, but making fun of people who think it's a good idea is essential

I like Nazi jokes in which the nazis are being made fun of. Like most of Inglorious Basterds is that kind of nazi joke. The ones that are like, "these guys do not and never did have 'genius' ideas, they are a joke." Those are OK, imo. And because so many nazis are coming out of their caves rn, I think people almost have a duty to be making those kind of nazi jokes.

Jokes that are like, "ha-ha, I'm a Nazi!"? No thanks. At best, that oh-so-eDgiNeSs makes people look like oldies who were around when 4Chan was relevant. At worst, it makes them look like alt-right trolls.
