[Inspired by the TV series "Modern Love"] Suppose there's an adult-only app that lets you start a non-romantic parent-child like relationship with someone. You'd be like their [adopted] child. Would you use this app to experience a new mom/dad?

Hard pass on that one, it's weird to me because as an adult the last thing I'd want is to relive my childhood, and even weirder with someone I do not know.

No chance. I’d be very very very suspicious of someone looking for a ‘daughter’ - especially a man. I’m not saying there wouldn’t be genuine people on there, but there would (sad but true) be an equal amount with highly questionable motives. And like the TV show (as far as I can remember), one person thinks they’re getting one thing and the other person thinks they’re getting something completely different. Just too many opportunities for this kind of thing to go horribly wrong for me. And I’m quite happy with the parents I have, thank you.

Non-romantic parent-child relationship? What's that? You call that simply parent and child?

Nah it's a little late for that... Ah hell who am I kidding if New Mom is cooking me dinner I'm am 100% showing up
