Hi! Merch a la carte may or may not be available depending on whether or not we have remaining stock for leftovers, so we can't guarantee that what you want specifically will be there by the time leftover sales open a few months from now.

Hello! We are not requiring zine experience or a TWST portfolio for this zine. While art with TWST characters would be helpful, our decisions will be based off skill and skill only. We will not be asking you for your past zine experience and we will be disregarding any comments/notes about past zine experience in received contributor applications. TWST is still a relatively new game and the TWST zine community is just starting out ⁠— we still have the opportunity to make this fanzine community a positive, friendly one and the Rose Maze team would like to help that happen. Although we can’t promise that we won’t recognize contributor applications from popular content creators, we will be striving to judge everyone fairly so that this will be a rewarding and fun experience for everyone.

Hello there i am very interested in applying for an artist role on the zine! But i have one question, can we apply more than one role? As for example applying for both page artists and as Merch artists, and how will it be if we get accepted in the end? :0 will we only be accepted in one or both role? Thankyou!

You can apply for more than one role! However, you can only be accepted for one. The Art Mod will decide based on which category they feel you'd fit better for this zine. Good luck applying!

Were we supposed to receive a copy of our responses after applying? I swear I applied but checked my email to find nothing 😅 I just wanted to double-check in case it might've not gone through.

Hello Anon! The settings previously were set to send responses when requested; it has just now been updated to send always after the form has been filled out. If you email us, we can confirm whether or not your application went through!

Will we be penalised for lack of TWST/Riddle content? I’m basically a writer but I’ve yet to write TWST specifically (though I do have a five page long characterisation document for Riddle if that is any testament to how much I prize accuracy lol,,,)! I’ve been in many zines before and just figured it’d be nice to be graded on style alone for once oop :P

We will not be requiring TWST works for your portfolio! While it would be nice to see your characterization of the Heartslabyul cast, your work will ultimately speak for itself and the quality will be the deciding factor in your acceptance. That being said, for you specifically anon, feel free to submit your essay as an additional piece! Our writer mod won't grade it but they'd love to read it ❤️

Is Yuu/MC allowed in this zine?

Yuu/MC will be allowed in the zine but under the category of non-Heartslabyul character. Unlike Chenya, who we are allowing as a bigger presence in the zine, Yuu/MC will be treated like a member of another dorm and allowed limited focus/background focus. We will ask for depictions of Yuu/MC to be non-stylized (with the exception of Heartslabyul garb in the event of a clothes swapping concept) and gender neutral.

If the zine becomes for-profit, will all contributors have to be 18+?

In the event that we become a for-profit, minors will only be allowed to receive money via an adult's PayPal account. However, we will strongly encourage them to receive their compensation as extra physical merchandise instead. Alternatively, we are offering all contributors the option to donate their compensation to charity and/or buying extra goodies at production cost.

Unfortunately, you won't be eligible as either a moderator or contributor as it is necessary for mod applicants to be 18+ and contributor applicants to be 16+ by the time their respective application periods end. Thank you for your interest, and please don't lose heart! There will be lots of opportunities for you to participate in other zines
