there absolutely are!! making the zine, whether sfw-side or nsfw-side, just depends on having enough interest and creators who'd like to join, so spread the word and let us know if you want to be a contributor!

could you specify what an art and writing mods are for?
of course! art and writing mods are the main mod point-of-contact for artist and writer contributors. along with reviewing apps and pitches with the rest of the team, art or writing mods are mostly dedicated to checking in with contributors throughout the creation phase. this involves keeping track of WIP progress, sending any feedback notes that contributors request, and basically making sure everyone has the support they need to finish on time. the art mod will also check artwork formatting while the writing mod will proofread (not fully beta) the finished fics. hopefully this helps, feel free to ask if you have more questions!

there’s currently one mod, and the full team will include art and writing mods too! there will potentially be a production mod, depending on responses to the interest check ✨

nope, no need to do anything until apps open! the interest check period just tells us what readers want and what kind of zine is logistically/financially feasible, so if you’d like to see a physical zine, sharing the interest check will help us reach that goal 💛

if we have enough interest to create a physical zine, we'd likely make about 7-10 physical merch items. prints and stickers would definitely be included. if there's any merch you'd love to see, let us know on the interest check!

[interest check question] Should the contributions be related to weather/going on dates as we understand it?
contributions can be anything canon-ish! there's no need to tie in weather or dates. pieces could range from a tour moment on stage, to hanging out in the recording booth, to an ot8 video game tournament with a plot or visual composition that focuses on minsung. the theme tilts toward fluff, but some angst is welcome, though we're aiming for a comforting vibe (pining and pre-relationship is okay but we aren't looking for breakups). thanks for asking!

hi! i’m really looking forward to this event and think it’s a lovely idea. i think something canon compliant centered is great, we need more of that content tbh. i’m just curious what is the application process/criteria like, if you know?
i'm looking forward to it too :D here's an overview -
the app will ask artists and writers for samples that they feel represent their best work. at least one of your samples should include jisung or minho. the app criteria will depend on whether the zine is open-call or selective, free or paid, and digital or physical (all in the interest check, but ultimately determined by the mods!)
there would be no criteria to join an open-call digital zine. for a paid digital zine, we would probably follow a style rubric and accept everyone whose samples match it. a paid physical zine would be most selective, since we're restricted by page count. a guideline with instructions & criteria, if any, will be published before apps open.
