Portfolios are only there in case we feel like we didn't get enough of a 'feel' for an applicant based solely on their 3 samples. For writers, it's really up to the individual mods but some of the things we might ask: Have they finished any fics within the zine word count? Do they have other JJK/Nanami works? But really portfolios are up to individuals! There isn't really an 'ideal' number. You can include as many works as you'd want to if you're making a specific Google Doc portfolio, but we'd suggest spending time to make sure the 3 main samples are what you're most proud of!

You can definitely submit ship-content for the application! And in case you missed it, we also updated our ship-allowances. For the NSFW zine we will allow ships, for more information check out our info doc! <3

Yes it is! Just fill out the forms for whichever roles you wish to sign up for (artist, merch artist, or writer). If you want to sign up as a spot artist or a cosplayer, as well as a page artist, those are included on the artist forms and you just mark them! If you want to apply as both a cosplayer and artist, just include a folder with your cosplay in your portfolio so we can look at it!

Portfolio pieces can be whatever length! Most people just use their ao3 or something similar. If you're making a Google Doc for a few specific additional pieces, they aren't restricted to the same WC as the main 3 samples are!

Hello! That's extremely sweet, thank you for asking! The best way is share the zine around. <3 Repost our announcements (apps open/spotlights/previews/sale/etc), engage with the posts if you want, and if you have any Nanami lovers, sharing the zine with them. And of course, when the sales open up, purchasing a zine is the best way to support the entire zine team! We want to make the best Nanami zine we can so we thank everyone for any support they can give!

We prefer only one app per person! However, you're more than welcome to use a Google Doc for a portfolio that would have the other works you were planning on using instead of just using an ao3 link! You can still link the ao3 at the end of the google doc, but this will allow us to see specifically what works you wanted showcased.

We have messaged guests, yes! We're still waiting to hear back from a few. We guarantee a minimum of 10 slots for writer contributors.

The applications all ask for a JJK sample, however, we have been getting a few apps without them! We just mark down a point for no JJK samples, but we encourage you to still apply! People can definitely still make it into the zine without having a JJK sample if their other work is polished. (This answer applies for writers as well!)

We're still waiting to hear back from guests! But they'll be announced alongside contributor applications to hopefully get people excited and want to apply!

There will be no ships allowed in the Nanami zine on either side, yes! The NSFW is up for interpretation, as we stated gore and erotic materials will be allowed so however that translates to you!

Interest check results should be posted soon, we're just working on the graphics!
