What's an interesting and not well known fact about your country or hometown?

We actually have the highest proportion of Liches of any city in the country. 47.9% of our population is just Litches.

My home town has:
-the deepest hand-dug well in the world (390 metres/1,285 ft)
-the oldest still operating electric railway in the world (opened 1883)
-the oldest operating aquarium in the world (opened 1872)

It's the only place left for canaanites after being hunted down and annihilated by religious fanatics.

Thos was a Roman town in ancient times and they installed water, sewage, central heating and toilets. Also they had roads, postal service, tax offices, public cleaning, a night watch.... you name it. All of these items today lack the quality they had 2000
