Do straws have one or two holes?

A straw with two holes is pretty useless if you’re wanting to suck any kind of liquid through it. And if it’s got four or more holes it’s in danger of becoming a woodwind instrument.

One - the only difference between a hole in a pair of jeans and a straw is the 'depth' dimension - the former could just be a few millimeters deep but the principle is the same... nobody would ask that question about the hole in the jeans though 🤔

When you remove the outer part of the straw you can see all the holes inside and count them!

Is the answer that straws are a myth invented and propagated by Greta Thunberg and AOC so that they would have something to take away from strong men after a hard day's work in the mines
