👉👈👁👁 what servants or different myths are you wanting fgo to add?? <33
There's a bunch honestly. If anything I'd start saying, I would really love to see FGO show mythologies or chapters of history that have yet to be covered.
I would also like to see FGO add more Genpei servants, Shizuka Gozen, Yoshinaka, Hojo Masako come to mind!
Since you live in Italy, I have to ask, did you play Assassin's Creed games set in Italy (II and Brotherhood)? Are they good representation or you hate with passion?
I remember playing them a bit back when I was a kid at a friend's house. I personally don't hate them, I like how the cities were presented (for what I remember, at least), and even the artistic liberties taken are definitely interesting on their own!
Favorite historical movie?
I've got a few of those:
Aleksandr Nevskij (1938) by Sergej Michajlovič Ėjzenštejn;
Rashomon, Ran and Kagemusha by Kurosawa;
The First King/Il Primo Re by Matteo Rovere.
how'd you get into history?
I guess it was a visual approach. Living where I do, as a child I was often taken to see local archeological sites by my grandparents, and our school would bring us, every once in a while, to see our town's castle, or some nearby ruins, which would often make me wonder about the story behind the people who built those things.
Favourite and least favourite era to learn about?
All history is interesting to me, especially if I can expand my knowledge on stuff I know little about, but if I were to be honest military history past the 1700s sort of bores me.
If you choose another civ to replace Rome's hegemony as an alternate history scenario, would you choose Carthage or Etruscan civ, and why?
I love Alternate History, but this question isn't a simple one to answer to, namely because Etruscans were a civilization in the same the Polis of Ancient Greece were - so they were never an unitary state, as much as they had a shared culture and a common council that reunited some of them, so I don't think they would've ever aimed for what Rome did. Carthage on the other hand was a civilization that valued mercantilism (although this term is anachronistic and my economical history professor would hate me for saying it), so they were mostly interested in conquering areas interesting for trade reasons rather than full on land conquest, even in the context of the Punics War they didn't occupy roman land as much as they tried to get the local people to revolt against Rome, indicating that their concept of Empire Building was probably different from the one we expect. Still! Carthage is cool, so I'd go with it.
Which Roman Emperor do you think will most likely to become a servant in FGO? I'm personally thinking either Aurelian or Constantine
No idea, I personally don't think we'll have any new romans added for a while (as much as I'd love an event set in Italy/involving Rome in some way). There's a bunch of them that might be cool, though
Any example of foreshadowing in Fate, that you piece together thanks to your history knowledge?
I've had a few in the past I guess, but I think the problem with history-based fate theories to me is that Fate only takes inspiration from history up to the point they feel like, so unless one is really knowledgeable and careful, hints might not lead anywhere.
Why did the venetians only hijack the boats to pillage Constantinople in the second crusade but never after, I still can't believe it worked
No one has trusted the Venetians since the Fourth Crusade
