What is an item or service that you procure on a regular basis that you consider is worth its weight in gold?
TV licence! Its about £160 a year to access BBC programming, services and radio. And its basically unavoidable because all tech automatically installs BBC stuff. So you have to pay! I wouldn't mind so much if you could opt out and you never see BBC ever again - but its basically a tax for something I don't really use anymore.
Why do you think some people stay in abusive relationships?
In the extremes I'd guess its fear. In the moderate it could be because it destroys a lot of progress (housing situation, social life) and they are scared of being alone. In its lightest its probably because they haven't connected the dots yet or are blinded by something nice about them (perhaps they are a good date or fuck every now and then).
Were you an uncool teenager?
Do you want to get married?/Are you married? Why?
Are good looking people often more boring than other people?
What do you envy the other sex for?
Less expectation to be the breadwinner and push the family name into better status. Better support against abuse. More socially acceptable to take on low paying chill jobs or not working at all. Favourable opportunities due to diversity quotas. Easier to find willing sexual partners. Lower criteria to attract partners.
I disagree. I'm sure there are cases where it applies. But business is far too dynamic for this to apply across the board. For example think about manufacturing where labour is replaced by machines. If people stop buying the product, profits go - which has nothing to do with unpaid labour (unless you are machines should be paid for their labour).
What would it happen if you and your ex were alone in the same room for two hours?
