What do you think about the dynamics on the relationship of kal'tsit and mon3tr?
oh hey good thing i checked my inbox because this is a fascinating question
It seems like based on the background we got from A Walk in the Dust that they're like, distinct entities but lowkey highkey soulbonded, somehow? They can definitely feel each other's emotions and they're individual enough that it feels like they legitimately care about each other.
This is maybe just my headcanon, but in some ways I feel like Mon3tr ends up being kind of a heat sink/outlet for Kal'tsit's anger and less controlled impulses—like, if Mon3tr is aggressing at something, it's because Kal'tsit does not like that thing. Sort of the id to Kal'tsit's ego+superego. Kal'tsit is a very tightly controlled person and very deliberate, so most of the time she still exerts very fine control over Mon3tr even when it's a dire situation and denies both of them the satisfaction...
...but also sometimes Mon3tr slams W through like five walls as a treat. She was having a very stressful day.
If you were to play in another urban fantasy larp (vampire or otherwise), what concept would you go for?
damn that's an interesting question. i feel like i'd want to avoid retreading ground i've already done to my satisfaction, so that eliminates a lot of things that i'd otherwise really enjoy.
one of the things i have found increasingly interesting is what it means to age and express aging in the face of a supernatural landscape where immortality is often part of the fantasy. one of the characters i've played in the past but never for a long enough stretch dealt with "what if you have phenomenal cosmic power but are still dying no matter how you try and push back against that fate" which feels like a hell of a thing to unpack in this current atmosphere, but i'd like to return to that one eventually.
Where did the bird on the head thing come from? Its very cute.
so 1. i grew up with birds as pets so i'm just used to birds sitting on my head even though i'm a cat-haver now (all my siblings are literal birds) and 2. i just really like shimaenagas which is the kind of bird in my twitter pfp. beautiful. what peak performance looks like
