1) magic good. I really like how magic is handled in the manga, it's simple enough but there's room for more complexity too. worldbuilding is good in general hoho

2) plot good ... basically certain types of magic were outlawed because they were used to do bad things and the laws are SUPER strict. but then they begin questioning like "hey, but we need these things to help people," and little by little they're starting to bend things and question that and. its cool !!!!

3) art style is SOOOO PRETTY please it's so beautiful and intricate agh

4) the characters are so loveable and a lot of them are morally grey and who doesn't love morally grey characters ha ha. seriously though. i dont even know how to explain it

5) diversity !!! there's lots of great representation of different things in this manga i think. a few characters are physically disabled and one is colorblind. there's poc characters both major and minor (jujy the cutest ever), i think one background character has vitiligo, and there's a canon gay couple... super cool !!!!! also not exactly canon but there's headcanons that this one character is trans and apparently shirahama likes and retweets posts of this headcanon... woaw...

6) noticed from a twitter post but it touches on sexual assault and things in that vein at one point but with good sensitivity i think !!
