One last question before the site bites the dust that I haven't seen yet (unless I missed it)

Would Overture almonde have changed anything about her past or have any really strong regrets? Such as keeping a little more distance from Stratham, putting up more of a fight against Claudius during the situation, or avoiding him straight up. I'd assume refrain Almonde wouldn't put as much thought towards this considering how hellbent she is on resurrecting Mikhail, but this question could count for her as well

I think the only think Refrain Al would've done differently is find a very long seraphium blade and fall on it, but Overture Almonde definitely would've put more effort into correcting the various missteps she'd made along the way. Most especially putting up more of a fight against Claudius for his own sake AND maybe stopping Tonia from going on that one fateful mission that took her life since both their deaths were pivotal turning points (for the worse) in the lives of those close to her.

This may sound weird, but does people asking you lore questions about bloodlight actually help in the creative process or have you just sat in a corner for so long you've covered every detail imaginable?

IT HELPS A TON ACTUALLY cuz they find potential holes that I can fill or even areas I never considered before that would help elevate or at least firm up the plot beats and character motivations
