AO3 Thorns/Elysium is... an experience.
English fics are almost non-existence, meanwhile CN fics do exist and there's a bunch, but because I don't know Chinese I need to use Google Translate to read it and, well... Extreme Realm. You know exactly what I mean with those two words. Thorn/Extreme my true otp /hj

When I checked to see what new porn could there be after the event, I certainly wasn't expecting for the first fic I clicked into to be "What if Thorns used his new metal thingy power to fuck Elysium's cock". I mean, I was indeed curious if/how people were gonna use the 'heart essense' or whatever it is actually called in their Elythorns porn... but Sounding was not on my list...

I'm aware you are talking about OG Thorns here and what I'm about to say only really applies to his Alter, but still: Be careful what you ask for if you think Thorns being given new lines in a 24 OP skin is automatically a win, because I was just thinking the other day that Thorns Alter having a mutated arm, a kit that has summons of sorts and the "Aulus was Thorns' Teacher" confirmation, HG kinda has all the ingredients they could ever want if they were to decide to give him a what-if Seaborn-themed skin.
On one hand, would I get such a skin? Unless they somehow make it unbelievably ugly... Yeah, maybe. (Particularly so if they put him in Church of the Deep robes because I'll admit it, I do think Thorns would look cool in a cloak...). On the other hand, such a what-if would surely be something out of IS3 level of mediocre fanfiction writing if not worse.
And you seem to hate IS3 even more than I do, so yeah, be careful what you wish for because you might not like what you could end up getting...
(And before you or anyone else say that I'm doomposting or something... They gave a what-if skin to something that was already a what-if (Skalter). Seaborn/CotD Thorns is something I could totally see HG doing.)

Has it ever been said in the game what the Liberi's average lifespan was?
Because well, Path of Life straight out came and explicitly told us that the Aegir have an average lifespan of one hundred fifty years. That... sounds like a lot. I guess it's not that long per lore standards since I'm sure the Sarkaz can live even longer, but if say, the Liberi's average lifespan happens to be anything shorter than that, then all of the Aegir/Liberi ships in the fandom just got served with some good old Mayfly-December Romance angst
(...not that Thorns wasn't gonna have to outlive Elysium already anyway because of oripathy, but still...)

diff anon here im a bit confused as to why thorns being polite in this event was ooc.. like most of the people he interacts with in this event apart from the RI operators are new and he’s in a very stressful situation so i understand him. i also think he’s never been rude (?) just very blunt and standoffish which makes other people misinterpret him IDK maybe im wrong

Speaking of CN and people complaining too much or not enough, and because you reminded me... Did a lot of people on CN actually complained about Pepe, or did I just dream that? Asking because honestly I don't remember anymore if it was just people on EN who found her underwhelming (true) or if CN players also didn't like her.
Granted, I won't blame you if you don't remember either because honestly who even remembers Pepe anymore. Like the only impact I think she had on the fandom was a gif of her dancing and then poof, forgotten. Every single other Limited had more attention given to them before their Global release than her, lol. (Granted, not counting the Sui like half of them or more are Alters so they were already existing characters with at least one or two really loud fans, but still...)
