Hi Cie, I hope you don't mind me asking but do you have some advice for me? I write fics too but for months I've been barely able to write. I will open the doc, read through the same few paragraphs and change little things but I can't stay motivated to do much else and I feel so guilty for it cause I wanna finish this fic. Should i continue to try or maybe take a break from it?
hi!! i personally dnt think there’s any reason to pressure urself inflict any more stress by trying to force urself to do smtn it’s clearly not in the mood for. i always take writing breaks and give myself the chance to come back to it organically. so it’s up to u, but if trying to churn it out hasn’t worked, maybe letting urself rest might help? good luck!
