yay i love this question !! ok lets see .. its hard to say exactly , let me explain . i first got into it when i was like 4 or 5 ; i saw my dad playing 3d land on his at - the - time 3ds ( which is now mine ) and he let me try it out . i was a big fan for quite a few years -- i had merch , played the games , etc . but i had a sudden fall out -- i cant say when exactly . i played casually from time to time , but it wasnt as big of an interest to me as it used to be . i dont really know why . but thenn , in like late 2022 when the movie trailers were coming out , i became really interested again . i was super excited to watch it by the time it came out , and i honestly dont know what happened to me -- i just seemed to regrow super attached to the bros overnight . its kinda funny to me -- they were my first comfort characters , after all , and here i am now , with smb being like my entire personality , haha . but yeah , it led to me being who i am today , i guess ! sorry for the long ramble , ive just never had the chance to talk about it , so im super happy you asked me that ^_^
