Hi!! I was just curious about how multichapter fics would work. Do we post all of the chapters at once, or is it okay to do it on a schedule? I just saw that a lot of the dates for posting and writing were super specific, so I wasn't sure when it was okay to start posting chapters!! Tysm!!

all chapters must be submitted at once and your work has to be completed!! you can submit it to the collection whenever you want, but we suggest you to wait at least until the first check in (September 1st) so you can ask us questions directly via email and dms :) -🧸

Hello anon <3 !! Thanks for asking! When it comes closer to the submission date, or if you send a dm/email that you have finished your work for your prompt, there will be a submission form that you will fill out, along with submitting your work to the collection.

After the fest is fully complete, good times had all around, is it improper to write/post a fic based on a prompt that had already been executed? I know abandoned prompts sometimes get released into the Wild Wild West, but what about those that had been fulfilled? My creative juices are flowing, but I don't wanna step on any toes. I'm still learning writing fest rules.
Hi anon! Thank you for asking this question. The mods have discussed that we aren't particularly fond of the idea that you use prompts that have already been written, though we suppose we technically can't stop you if you were to write something outside of the fest using inspiration from any of our prompts. If you do decide to do this, please take consideration of the work that was originally created for the claimed prompt. - 🐣

Will there be an author guessing game? Will we have to be secretive about our prompts until reveals?
it depends on how many people are joining the fest.. for now we received around 40 claims so if we get to at least 60 that's a possibility!! we can definitely think about something 😉
and if you're an author, yes, please don't talk about the one you're writing (the reveals will happen in december on christmas eve). if you submitted a prompt and that's your questions then you can talk about it freely. just keep in mind that some authors might feel pressured if they are aware of the prompter :)

Hii do you rules on claiming prompts if we're also planning to self-prompt? Like can we claim other prompts while writing our self prompt or can we only claim another prompt after submitting the self prompted fic? tysm

hi! is there a specific time (hour + timezone) you'll be dropping the claiming forms on the 7th? i think it'd help a lot to know just in case there'll be participants who are on different timezones than the mods. thanks!!!

hello dear anon! of course you can join, but you can't claim nsfw prompts (in dark green) or make the others nsfw either. that's why we have the "smut accepted but not required" option in our prompt form. we have the "no smut" option too, but for now we only received one prompt exclusively sfw. you're more than welcome to join us! -🧸
