How did Telios find out about his broken off horns in Eschor's possession

I imagine one day, he's helping Eschor with his gardening and Eschor asks him to go get something from his room. Telios obliges and while looking just sees his old broken horn sitting on Eschor's goddamn shelf. He doesn't return to help eschor
