Pat is a former alcoholic. He only drinks on occasion now as his access to alcohol is severely limited since he had to move so far deep into the woods. Willa grows and smokes weed. It helps him with his sensory issues and gives him a bit of an appetite. Wojtech would probably have a caffeine dependency IF they had coffee lol.
