His station is the only one that happens to be in space in this setting. And regular stations are no competition for him soooo I'd say he probably sees them as inferior.

Consider him being over 3 meters tall I think everything he has is personally tailored.

They are allowed to take day off and wandering around inside the station facilities, but vacations outside of the station is probably no.

While Station Master acts like Porters father figure he actually asks them to not address him as dad/father, but I can see them slip sometimes.

Yep! They do small tasks in the station and assisting the passengers, guiding them, help carrying their luggage etc.
