It's Mercer the type to dress up intentionally, or does he just wear the same few things that coincidentally look dashingly good?

He does have the tendency to make anything he wears look good, so it might be a little bit of both. Sometimes he just grabs some random clothes to throw on, other times he intentionally picks out a certain outfit. Depends on his whims.
