is there anything you're NOT accepting, like besides the obvious of something that doesn't focus on the ship, nsfw (aside from its section) etc?
Hi there! Sorry for the late reply. To answer your question, while we love to encourage all sorts creative exploits with Albelumi, we do have some restrictions regarding content. Anything dead dove related is forbidden. However, metaphorical uses in a more horror/thriller like scenario may be allowed in the zine with some limitation. This sort of content along with other potential squicks such as heavy angst, things related to pregnancy, and character death would have to have content warnings placed at the forefront. Any prompts relating to the Imposter is tricky. While the mods don’t mind if contributors want to make something for Imposterlumi, the number of content featuring it will be heavily limited.

hi!! i like all lumi ships and would love to participate in this zine, but i dont want to use the spot in the case someone else likes the ship even more!! is there a chance that closer to when the apps will be closing, you could tweet about it so we are aware of it to finally decide if to apply or not? thank youu
Hi there! Thank you for your interest in our zine! We’re always happy to see more Albelumi fans around. No need to worry about short-notice closure, around the 2/3 week mark we will start counting down to when sign-ups end. If you do decide to join us on this little project, we’d be more than happy to have you! Though please keep in mind that if sign-ups exceed the limited number of slots, then you will only accepted as a pinch hitter in case one of the contributors is unable to complete their piece.

Is there an age requirement? Most zines require 16+ because of compensation I think, so could I still join underage if I opt out of compensations? I’m a bit new with zines, so sorry if that’s not the case!
Hello! We appreciate your drive to create and enthusiasm! As mentioned in our FAQ, we will only be accepting people who are sixteen plus (16+), and we will only accept them for the SFW section of the zine — however, Stellar Inflorescence is a free zine made to bring the community together, so there will be no financial compensation for this publication. Despite there being no compensation, we have this age limit in order to comply with international labor laws, so even if a contributor is in the SFW zine and has lied to us about being 16+ by the deadline of acceptance (Jan 10th, 2023) the mod team will immediately kick them from the project and contact a pitch hitter.
