Since we have a web event basically confirming that AlHaitham can see the Aranara, I couldn't help but think of them being there for him when his Grandmother passed. They bring him flowers and other small things because "young silver Nara is sad" and so they're doing their best to help make him happy and it makes him smile a little, but the grief is still there and still fresh.

I also believe that they helped guide Kaveh to AlHaitham, despite the fact that Kaveh probably can't see them. Just this unconscious pull to go seek out the lonely silver haired boy with piles of books buried around him as he's focused on nothing else besides the book in front of him until Kaveh appears in front of him and that was that, he found his person
